Since her start in the decorative arts field 10 years ago, Sheri Zeman has applied her elegant, yet minimalist design style to the surfaces of countless walls throughout the Chicago area. With an eye for design and a keen sense of color balance, Sheri has translated her unique decorating style into the creation of original decorative wall art.

Inspired by the complexity of pattern and texture, each painting captures a distinctive element of depth. "I am continually fascinated by shapes, colors and textures. With each piece I discover new relationships between these qualities."

The collection of ethnic, modern and transitional designs incorporate a variety of mediums. "My art is an exploration of the many possible relationships that can exist between texture, movement and hue. As a decorative professional, I'm always looking to bring harmony to interior spaces. I've created these collections in an effort to satisfy both goals. Each panel can stand alone, or as a group, can unify a space."

Sheri Zeman is the owner and Creative Director of Faux Design Studio. Her work has been featured on HGTV, as well as in such publications as Luxe, Chicago Home and Garden, West Suburban Living and Faux Effects World magazine.
